Yup.Yes youre allowed
HUH? what am I missing here?
I specifically keep my personal life and my internet life apart. If you talk shit about something you better be able to answer for it without whining.I've had a think about this before posting how I feel about this situation, as many of you know I take privacy seriously, and believe that it should be a right that is protected by web sites and users alike. However, I don't believe any person has an unalienable right to privacy. For instance if someone made threats against someone's life, then it would be prudent for a website, or even an inquisitive user, to provide the proper authorities with as much information as they can provide.
While at the same time websites should foster the environment, through anti-doxing and privacy rules, that anyone who acts within normal decency should be afforded what protections they have against having their personal information revealed against their will. Yet, the quandary here in this case is the user in question is clearly inciting hatred with some of his posts and memes, should he be afforded the same protections as an average user?
My thoughts seem to suggest that once you are infringing on another group or person's liberty, such as the aforementioned murder threat, or posting anti-Semitic memes, then you have forfeited any personal decency rights about protection of privacy owed to you by websites or other users. Although, If anyone has a strong argument for why it shouldn't be this way then I'd be happy to hear it.

I disagree. Posting is essentially talking. If you gonna say something then man up and say it (if it has a strong stance of course)100% disagree
Basically you are saying that you are against free speech and freedom of opinion and the right to express that opinion
I don't agree with what he said in your 1st post and thinks it's hateful and useless, but imo he's has the right to that view and to express it
Free speech means free speech, not only what you deem acceptable
You are aware what CNN did is blackmail right?
The motherfuckers may have committed a federal crime
Just because you get your panties in a bunch because somebody makes a funny gif that the president retweet is not a reason to blackmail somebody
Should the Senate wear V from vendetta masks?100% disagree

While I agree with you that he should have stood up for himself and wish he told CNN to go fuck themselves instead of giving in to themI specifically keep my personal life and my internet life apart. If you talk shit about something you better be able to answer for it without whining.
I can say if I was called out for some real shit I'd be okay with it. You have to be accountable for your own actions. A screen name isnt a level 47 high elf called Leigh who will protect you.
Gotta own what u say. End of

Freedom of speech does not guarantee anonymity. No one is suggesting this man should be locked up. I really have no problem with his CNN meme, I don't know why you think I do. I believe you are conflating two issues, freedom of speech and the right to privacy.100% disagree

No one is stopping this man from saying what he wants.Free speech is all about letting people say stupid shit, its important to let them do that
I agree.Free speech is all about letting people say stupid shit, its important to let them do that
Oh absolutely he should have told them to fuck themselves. While I agree with you that he should have stood up for himself and wish he told CNN to go fuck themselves instead of giving in to them
How CNN went about this was completely stupid, making a public threat via Twitter the way they did shows blackmail and is fucking disgusting
Also if the rumours are true that he's 15, I'd kind of understand why hed get so afraid and back down
Every time my account is frozen that's censorship and a violation of my first amendment rightsNo one is stopping this man from saying what he wants.
