  • Lucy Pawle was heading home from work and passed through the London Gay Pride parade, an annual event that was likely even livelier given yesterday's news that their neighbor across the Atlantic finally legalized marriage between any two people, regardless of gender.

She expected to see bright-colored flags and brightly-dressed people. What she didn't expect was a man in black holding an ISIS flag! For reference, this is an ISIS flag:

  • For further reference, here is the flag she spotted:

  • Those certainly aren't Arabic letters which, to Pawles' and the CNN anchor's credit, they acknowledged. They just assumed it was a crude attempt at mimicking an ISIS flag.

Had they looked a bit closer at the "symbols" on the flag, they would have realized that they were silhouettes of dildos and butt plugs, images much more acceptable at a gay pride protest than a flag promoting terrorism.

Thus concludes CNN's Greatest Week of All Time. It began with Don Lemon asking us if the N-word is offensive. It ended with a meagre analysis of sex toys.

Thank you for existing, CNN. Thank you, indeed.
