On August 19, his birthday, Cody had a fight in which he suffered a ruptured glove (eye poke with destruction of the eyeball itself). He has not recovered.

He made a post here that is pretty hard to watch as he released news that he will have to have the eye removed and it can't be salvaged.

You might remember him from fighting Aoki in One FC. He's been steady in the game since then.

This is what these fighters all risk going in there for our entertainment. This guy is beyond humble and even as he is losing his eye, the guy is so ridiculously focused on the positive and not wanting pity. Just wants to coach and support his fans and family.
