I start the water out luke warm so it's not a huge shock, and then start turning it down until it's cold. Cools my body temp down in minutes.I can't bring myself to do it. I have done some jumps/swimming in fridged lakes and stuff and actually felt great after.
No way I could do it a gym shower, I'm already a grower and would become turtle like.
Meant to hit the agree icon, my badWhenever I shower at the gym, I turn the water as cold as it can get. If I don't, I'm still sweating by the time I get out and go to get dressed. There is an initial shock to the temperature, but I'm adjusted within maybe five seconds, and it just feels good.
Since I do that a lot at the gym, I find I'm able to do the same anytime I shower. I still like warm showers in the morning, but there is something enjoyable about cold showers too. That and, man, do you feel awake afterward!
I have done it several times in my life,I got used to it after doing it for a month straight.Has anyone ever tried one? I just tried it out. HOLY HELL was it cold at first, but I perservered and got used to it after about 30 seconds. It actually began to feel warm after a while. I got out and feel awesome now, better than I do after warm showers. Thoughts?

I like to wash me bit's with the shower set to broil and then BAM all the pressure all the cold and stay there till it's comfortable.
