I still have a ticked for the Independence Bowl 1989 tulsa vs oregon
This was Oregon's first bowl game since 1963.

My pops bought tickets to support them...possibly even to get them invited to the bowl game. We didn't go to the game, cause so far away.

Ducks were losers until that season and have been much better since.
