Conor contradicted himself. He said floyd has never been in a fight, then scoffed at opponents like mosley as half fighters. After saying that, he said all the talk is just noise and what matters is the fight, "and we are going to fight." Can't believe no one caught that.
Ha now this is the format Conor shines in... Classic Conor. Larger then life biggest persona in the room
this is the first time Floyd will be in the ring with an actual fighter, not just a boxer.

He will call what he does that night true fighting. He's framing it like he's luring Floyd into his world, not the other way around.
He destroyed Floyd Sr. which isn't hard because he's a babbling old man, but I think he took it easy on him and just had fun. He had a lot of openings to get him worse but didn't take them. "Take the flip flop out of your mouth" was good though.
It's a mismatch verbally, but Floyd Sr. successfully disrupted Conor's press conference, and a day later he's become a minor player in the overall narrative.
Meh. Conor came out looking good, and Floyd Sr. is clearly mentally impaired a bit. How is he a player? He was talking public trash before the fight. Nothing's changed.

Do you really think that's a good point, and that it makes him a player? He's always been talked about within this matchup. Conor posted a picture of him when he announced the fight for God's sake. It's not like Floyd Sr. went out there and impressed anybody. He was a babbling old man on Monday, he will be a babbling old man on Saturday.
Perhaps our definitions of "player" are different?
