"Returning this summer, the show will air on UFC Fight Pass and will include live fights between up-and-comers looking to break into the UFC and occasionally, veterans who are fighting to stay or return to the world’s largest MMA promotion. These fighters will fight in the “TUF Gym” in Las Vegas, NV, in front of UFC brass including UFC President Dana White, and UFC matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard. Unlike the popular UFC reality show “The Ultimate Fighter” the bouts do indeed count towards fighters’ professional records.

I know few ppl on here. AUSTIN tweedy is a Strong wrestler from Indiana and I have no clue how he makes 155 dudes put together..Todhunter was the guy that ufc signed to fight once on short notice then couldn't make weight and retired and now is getting a shot. He's undefeated iirc..Chris Curtis is a animal and been a UFC caliber fighter for a while now. .Emiliano Sordi subbed my boy Bubba in bellator and he's good on the ground. Looks like The Bullet Valentina Shevchenko has a relative fighting.. and Jeff Hughes which is no relation is fighting.. he is the current LFA Hw champion and training partner to Stipe.. just a solid HW with good cardio and heart. just few off the top of my head..HW is so thin they are trying their hardest to do something. Even got a vet like Greg Rebello on there which I respect. I'm excited to see Nick Newell fight he's a savage.

I had a feeling I'd see Ryan Spann's name come up on one of these soon, he stopped Alex Nicholson recently who'd been on a run of his own since being cut from the UFC.

Ive been waiting for this for a long time i love this show and hope it will soon be 2 seasons a year and it will phase out TUF

Week 1 has two fights i see as complete mismatches.

In the main Boatwright vs Menfield looks crazy as menfield is a beast and has beaten way better competition as both a pro and an amatuer. Plus he won by stoppage on season 1. All of his pro fights are in larger orgs including bellator RFA and LFA. Boatwrights only wins over opponents with winning records came as an amateur where he went 4-3. Most were 0-0 and 0-1 or 1-2 including some of his losses

In the co main chris curtis is the #1 ranked welterweight in the northeast and southeast. He is the CES welterwight champion and has beaten good competition for years. 3 of his 5 losses are to nahshon burrel, belal muhammed and tom galliachio. His opponent lally has beaten a bunch of cans with slightly better than .500 records by 1st rd stoppage. His ground game is very amateur and hes actually been submitted by will santiago who will also be fighting on the same event as the opening bout and has lost to lallys opponent chris curtis. Lots of guys from the NE regional scene on week1 of dwtncs

Between dwtncs on tuesdays, pfl on thursdays and bellator and ufc events we will have a great summer filled with mma

Shouts out to Montel Jackson for getting the rare Dundasso trifecta of a groin strike, eye poke, and a strike to the back of the head all in the 1st round.
