A new clip has been released to promote the upcoming title rematch betweenDaniel Cormier and Jon Jones at UFC 197. In it, the current champion says their second encounter will look nothing like the first one.

"I beat the two best men in the division, and now we're right back where we started," Cormier said about beating Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson en route to a Jones rematch. "But this time it's different."

"I'm the champion, and by him getting out of the game for as long as he's been, it allowed me to be more comfortable in this weight division. It allowed me to get through those wars that I need to prepare for the war that I'm going to have with him."

"No one in this division can keep Jon and I away from each other. I feel it's him and I, and the rest of the division."

I love DC, but that is a huge mountain to climb right there.

I really want DC to win, but I don't see it happening. Jones may very well be the MMA GOAT. And this new powerlifting Jones is even more terrifying.

I had that fight 2-2 going to the 5th (DC's cardio was bad in that fight). Jones won but it wasn't a blow out.

I will take DC in the Rematch via 48-47, his punches looked to have more fluidity vs Gus, also his cardio looked better. That fight in my opinion was a dress rehersal for the Jones rematch. Jones is also very hittable Glover, Gus and DC have landed on Jones. If DC can throw volume and has the cardio I like his chances.

It would probably just bring the Jones fanboys down a bit. It would probably delay the Rumble/Jones, which would suck a bit.

I really hope there aren't any eyepokes.

exactly...I really want to see how much shit DC talks to hype the fight. I think JBJ is going to throw a real good beating on him this time.
It will make the last one look tame in comparison.

The only thing different this time around is Bones gets the finish. DC was praying to god that Bones came back as a HW and let him hold the belt for a few more years, but it looks like Jesus has forsaken him!

Bones easy win, he's whipping DC he's whipping AJ then he's whipping the bums at HW... if they actually make it to the fight without getting injured
