So Cowboy just confirmed that he never had a broken nose or orbital bone. So just a lie for marketing purposes, as per usual by the UFC.

Donald Cerrone claims nose, orbital NOT broken in loss to Conor McGregor — ‘Not sure why UFC always says that’

So all of this pearl clutching, and all this ridiculous hate towards Stephen A Smith was based on a lie.

Smith was actually the only honest person about this fight. The whole thing was a marketing cash grab. They rolled in a shot fighter coming off 2 KO losses who offered no threat and immediately folded, and then expected everyone to thank them for stealing their money.

Smith is used to boxing, where often commentators admit that shot fighters are shot and when a fight is just a can crushing exercise. Whereas Rogan is Dana's sock puppet - and you all acted like he is the one to be trusted.

Smith called it how it actually was and yet everyone took the side of the blatant liars instead. And now they've been exposed as liars and you've been exposed as dipshit rubes. Apologize.

If cowboy would have won, then Conor would have wanted a rematch, and would have meant more money for Cowboy.

The issue with Smith was saying that Cowboy folded like a cheap tent under the bright lights.

He was just outclassed, and anyone who follows MMA knew that when the fight was booked.

It was both. You're trying to present a false dichotomy. Cowboy was outclassed and also folded like a cheap tent, just as he did in his other major UFC showcase fight. In his two biggest fights in his UFC career, he lasted less than 2 minutes combined.

Stephen A Smith, being a casual, was clearly frustrated that (at this stage) a shot tomato can coming off two KO losses was brought in to lose and then a bunch of snake oil salesmen like Rogan spent all week insisting that Cowboy is a legend who shouldn't be underestimated and could beat Conor.

Then it turns out that the can who was brought in to lose immediately did just that. In boxing, they would call that what it was, and would be disappointed if the can couldn't even last a single minute. Smith had been taken for a mark and he didn't like it.

You can't bullshit a bullshitter, as they say. It's why fellow bullshitter Chael Sonnen defended him.

It's why Stephen A has made millions off bullshitting, and why the people who are attacking him are a bunch of rubes.

Any good MMA fan knows Cowboy freezes in big fights....he's done it his whole career. Combine that with a habit of starting slow....Conor took full advantage and blew his fookin doors off.

Steven A was insisting that they never learned anything from Conor in the fight and that Cowboy just gave up. Both are wrong.

Cowboy froze and couldn't react fast enough to recover.

And Conor proved he was back in fight mode...fast and calculated strikes, and executed the game plan to a fookin T. And it was also Conor that said something was broke...he said it after the stoppage directly to Cowboy when he was consoling him.

Steven and Max are both awful at interviewing MMA fighters on their show...Steven was just being Steven in this instance.

The two thing we learned according to the carnival barkers and the dipshits of the world are that Conor can get off the crack long enough to go through a fight camp and that he can smash cans.

The first 'lesson' is a pretty fucking low bar for learning something and the second is not something we didn't know already.

Enough of the bullshit. Two major lies about this fight have already been exposed, so stop with this tripe about the fight being some highly meaningful event. Great MMA striker crushes shot can brought in specifically to lose. Stop the presses.

Rebound fight for Conor and a big opportunity for Cowboy...both coming off two loses.

This fight was easy to sell and even easier to make.

Cancel your crusade....

Don't make me pull out the 'you don't say' gif again. None of what you just posted has any relevancy to this thread.

This is a counter-crusade against all the self-righteous who went on a crusade against someone for speaking the truth. I'm like Saladdin, if Saladin was a white guy who lives with his parents who felt it necessary to defend ESPN commentators on internet forums.

This thread is not for re-litigating shit about why they made the fight. It's about apologizing to Stephen A Smith and atoning for your failings as a human being.

No...this is about you trying to find a reason to feel offended. And once you're offended, you must scream it from the rooftops and demand action.

Classic snowflake mentality. But in the world of foruming....no one gives a shit, and see right through you.

Good day.

relevance, goddammit.

plus you messed your whole post up.
There is no difference between relevancy and relevance. Just like there is no difference between your misplaced pendantry and your misplaced pederasty - you're searching for minor mistakes in the wrong place.

You know calling a fighter a "can" is against the TOS, right?

This whole song and dance over UFC 246 and 247 is also hilarious considering your post about the upcoming middleweight fight.

I'd imagine a lot of what people post is against the TOS, princess.

I don't think Cowboy is a career can, but he was brought in as one for this fight. Shot fighter is the better term, but I'm thinking about it from Stephen A's perspective.

Oh, and "Cowboy is a better striker than McGregor."

Adults admit when they make mistakes. It's a quality you'll grow into. Well, hopefully, you'll likely just continue to be a post alot-know nothing.

and no, the mods here are pretty good about enofrcing the few rules we have.
