I missed this fight live (great one to miss) and just saw it. Ridiculous fight. But what happened at the finish - I couldn't see what caused Oliveira to suddenly give up and his eye seemed to be troubling him. Was there an eye poke?

Also, amazing fight but I thought Alvarez-Gaethje was definitely better, if not simply that it involved higher skilled fighters and the finish was far more dramatic.

This fight was the more dramatic to me in that it had more major swings but was very wild.

Eddie and Justin was super action packed but more technical.

Both great for different reasons.

As far as the finish goes i think it was a combo of exhaustion and Yancy landing several clean shots and his body and mind just said fuck all this.
