I wonder if any NY tmmac'rs have seen this building in person.
there are a few bizarre buildings in DTLA and Long beach that I always wonder if the have some weird government stuff going on like they don't fit the architecture of surrouding buildings and they have some insane security measures or weird things like armored military trucks coming out of them.
I remember my Grandpa who died in 1989 talking about how corrupt AT&T was in the 80’s - he was always be billed some bullshit charges, fast forward to the late 90’s - early 2000’s I used a cell phone through Alltel - around 2010 AT&T purchased a portion of Alltel and my services switched over to AT&T, I remembered what my Grandpa had told me but I figured it couldn’t be that bad and this wasn’t a landline anymore ..it was cellphones and more modern.
I was very wrong - soon I saw bullshit charges galore - it was a headache and quickly I bought out my contract and switched over to the equally evil competitor Verizon.
Point of my Story? Phone companies are cocksuckers trying to suck your money and cock.

lol I used to work for cingular(at&t) I know how they take peoples money this why I'm glad t mobile exists there plans are less money grubbing and fair.
I miss when Bellsouth and AT&T were two different companies... never had any issues with Bellsouth until the AT&T merger/purchase. Have had the same account since 1994.
I imagine the look of the building has more to do with preventing others from spying on them. Electronic shielding (Faraday cage, etc), minimal windows to prevent vibrations in glass being read as sounds as well as visual/drone surveillance, etc.
