@ChaosOverkill have me idea with the Jays thread..Yea I know it's been one a hundred years since our last WS title...BUT with this RIDICULOUS core of young Guns aka 4 rookies have multi HR Ganges this year..plus Cy Young hopeful Arrieta who has a .43 era 6-0 (league leading 18 wins) August with a no hitter..which is the greatest month of August in 60 years by a pitcher...kris Bryant is a run away Rookie of the year.. 267 avg 22 HR and an unreal 84 rbi with 27 Games yet to play...the cubs are 20 Games over .500 and are going to be a force for years to come..

I hope the best for the Cubs and hope they get a title.......I felt that pain forever until 2004.
They are in 3rd place in division but will be one of the 2 wild cards as it sits now, right? (I am out of it with some of the changes, but 2 wildcards now)so, theoretically could put together a run this year?

2013 sports season was the best for me personally, ever...my baseball and my NFL teams both won their respective championships that year. I want everyone to feel that joy. I get bored watching the same team (*cough*yankees*cough*) win repeatedly, BOORRRRIIINNNGG. Mixing it up makes it so much more fun to be a fan of the sport.

Yep. I root for the little guys or comeback teams come playoff time. KC had a hell of a run last year out of nowhere. They're in the mix this year(82-54) too, but I hope my Twinkies(70-66) can rooaar till the end and possibly make wild card.

Six all these teams have money and MN has to always rely on the farm system. No big trades of free agents. Just old dudes wrapping up their careers...lol this isn't all directed at you @girlandcoconut I'm just passionate about my teams.
