It was reported on Wednesday night that Cris Cyborg was in talks to return to the Octagon in a 140-pound catchweight clash with Germaine de Randamie at UFC 201, but the Brazilian fighter quickly denied the news.

Cyborg, who defeated Leslie Smith in her UFC debut last Saturday, told the media at the post-fight press conference in Curitiba that her next fight would be a 145-pound title defense at Invicta FC, and she’s sticking to it.

"My next fight will be at my weight, 145lbs. Title defense at Invicta FC," Cyborg tweeted in Portuguese. "Catchweight only with Ronda Rousey or Miesha Tate."

She had a very interesting fb post about women needing more divisions and how she feels like it's her duty to fight at 145, so bigger women have a chance to fight in the UFC.

I agree with her, but 125 needs to come first.

It's a toss up after that with 105 and 145, but I personally think 105 has more talent available.

Anyway, I think women's MMA in the UFC should be 105, 115, 125, 135 and 145. Yeah, a couple of those divisions will be thin at first, but just having them will bring the talent in quickly.
