Raw: Man accused of shooting teen bonds out | www.wftv.com
A Florida teenager was shot in the head with a shotgun by his girlfriend’s stepfather.
The stepfather, Alvin Gene Knight, 50, along with a family friend met the boyfriend at the door when he showed up at the house. Both men were armed with shotguns.
The 16 year old boy grabbed the barrel of one of the guns, pointed it at his own face and said he was not scared of being shot.
It was at that point that Knight pulled the trigger and shot the teen in the head. Fortunately, the boy miraculously suffered only minor wounds from the shotgun blast.
Some reports indicate that the gun “went off” accidentally while pointed at the teen’s head.
Knight is facing charges of aggravated battery with a firearm. Knight already has a criminal history, including violent offenses.
