Dana White never really hit it off with Holly Holm's longtime manager Lenny Fresquez.

Even going back to before Holm signed with the promotion in 2014, Fresquez and the UFC president had very different ideas about how much she was worth.

Making the rounds discussing the fallout from this weekend, White wasn't shy about taking some more shots at Ol' Lenny.

"The sad part about that whole thing is, and listen, he's an old boxing guy who thinks he's smart and he isn't," White said of Fresquez on ESPN's Russillo & Kanell. "The thing I feel bad about is I feel bad for Holly because I don't know if Holly really knows what she lost. I think she has so much faith in the people that surround her she feels like, 'Well, they've got me here.' We had this meeting and Holly wasn't even in it. Holly, that's your life! You should be in that meeting. Don't leave it to these people, this guy. Oh my god.

"Listen, Holly made a lot of money, she accomplished great things, she beat Ronda Rousey, but it could have been so much bigger for her. The sad part is I don't [think she even knows.]

Asked for a response by ESPN's Brett Okamoto, Fresquez says both he and Holm are very aware of what they might have left on the table not waiting for Rousey.

"Of course, she knows," Fresquez said. "It was a team decision, and Holly is the boss. She wanted to fight, and she got her wish. I think she'll fight Miesha or Ronda next. That's my personal feeling, but who knows what the UFC has cooking? Holly was dominant in that fight against Miesha except for the second and fifth round. She paid for it. Hat's off to Miesha for capitalizing.

"What happens next is the UFC's decision. All I can speak to are Holly's wishes. Holly wants to fight Miesha right away. She wants to fight Ronda Rousey. Even with the title, a fight between Miesha and Rousey doesn't have the glamour a fight with Holly and Ronda does. Yeah, Holly lost. She made a mistake, but she'll learn from it. Everyone saw she's a warrior."

Dana cares more about shitting over this manager publicly than he does about any missed opportunity Holly had with the Rousey rematch.

He's mostly mad about those 500K checks he has to cut to a non-champ.

I think Dana should just manage everyone, as well as promote.

Wow, what a surprise that superdouche is against a fighter's manager who is there to get their fighter the most money and best fights on behalf of their fighter and not strictly the organization.

If only douchebag would stick to shutting up and putting on fights instead of playing touch butt in the park with Nick the Goof and Matt Serra while coddling all of his ass-kissers.

"That's my personal feeling, but who knows what the UFC has cooking? Holly was dominant in that fight against Miesha except for the second and fifth round"

come on that's BS, what Renau did to Dufresne and what DeRandamie did to Pacheco was dominant. Holm was decisively winning rounds, "dominant" is too strong of a word. Meisha should be given credit.

I am don't agree with Dana but Holly vs Ronda 2 could have broken all records.

He's mad because his big rematch was blown, and yes Holly lost out on a mega pay day, but this is prize fighting: it's all about risk and reward.

Holly likes to stay busy and felt that if she had to sit on the shelf and wait for Ronda for a year, it wouldn't be good for her. Holly is in her mid 30s, she doesn't have time to sit around and wait to see if Ronda wants to come back or not, she wanted to stay busy. In this case the risk didn't pay off and millions were lost due to one mistake, but that's the fight game. Oh well.

She did exactly what a champion is supposed to do, and that's defend her belt against the number one contender in her weight division. When Dana and Lorenzo talk about how much money a fighter lost out on, what they're really talking about is how much money they lost out on. If after all these years they had the entire main card of UFC 200 riding on what went down last Saturday night, then who's fault is that, really?

Conor asks to fight as much as possible and loses: "What guts, what a hero!"

Holly decides not to sit out a YEAR and loses: "What a stupid decision!"

FUCK OFF DANA. JUST FUCK OFF!

The guy sure loves to give his opinion. Maybe some fighters just enjoy the competitive nature of the sport and aren't that interested in getting as much money as possible.

That's my problem with other major sports. It seems that eventually money over the game is the big concern.

what rematch is he talking about?

Ronda kept saying she wanted no part of it and that she can barely eat an apple. She was talking about contemplating suicide and trying to recover mentally from this loss. She didn't even want to watch the Holly vs Meisha match.

This is who Dana is forcing to take the rematch against Holly so he can make money?

And its Lenny who is the shady boxing manager?

If she's worth so much more, FUCKING pay her more! Dumbass! All he's doing is saying for a fact that he underpaid her.

For years blasts fighters for wanting to sit out for the bigger fights, but now is blasting Holly's camp for not wanting to sit out? Egg being egg, what a worthless human being.

How does it benefit him personally or the UFC as a business entity to take shots at a fighter's management? Fcuk he gets his panties in a wad over any issue that in some way correlates to ronda.
