They really are either the least self aware company in the history of business, or they just don't care about how they come across. So much of it is just laughable at this point. Dana either needs some serious PR people working with him preparing him for hours before every public appearance, or he needs to be doing a lot less talking to the media.

Analogy: Youtube can have advertisers all the way up until the point you press play.

Dana: These guys don't get it. These guys are short sighted. It's good for the industry.

Host: Why is it good for the industry?

Dana: Ummm...stutter. You wanna have a deal like this.

Then proceeds to bash sponsors that have supported the UFC & their fighters for 15 years. Says every dime is going to the fighters but doesn't discuss how much that is, and how much the majority of the fighters are losing.

The fighters are scared of change, he says. They can keep their sponsors, just like "every other organization". Doesn't discuss how every league he is comparing this deal to, there are TEAMS and the players are EMPLOYEES. The individual sports (Nascar, golf, tennis) don't do this.

Even some team sports allow their own sponsors, to a degree. Football(soccer), have private boot deals, which next to the kit market has got to be the next most profitable, and players get massive sponsorship deals to wear different companies boots.
