Legacy?

Yeah there is a little human being who carries his genes, who may really require he does care. What kind of legacy is that?
Edit: retracted due to good point made.

Maybe he was just trying to show his dedication to the fight game and he will realize what a total tool that sounds like and come back with a correction. At least i hope he does, i don’t wanna have to root for Woodley.

He kept using that word "greatness"...I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

Posted this in another Darren Till thread:

I think even @Miesha's Taint can admit that most Scousers aren't the best with the whole "English language" thing.

I think what Till meant to say is that he's not putting his focus and his attention on his family right now because he has to be focused on training/fighting for the belt.

^^After seeing the interview in context, I know for a fact that the above is what he meant to say.

Remember, this is the same guy who bragged that it should be illegal to cut as much weight as he does.

Fortunately for Till, he's not a minority so he'll be given the benefit of the doubt

Someday, he will grow up and realize that while he was chasing dreams, he missed out on the most important things in life.

I don't think enough is lost in translation and context to confuse "I'm prioritizing fighting over family right now" and "I have a 1 year old baby in Brazil that I haven't seen for a year."

I showed this post to Till.

His response: "I don't really care."

Perhaps you are referring to when you wrote this:
Audio doesn't match the way his lips are moving.

And even if it does, context ffs. He's not saying he doesn't care about his family.
When I compare how you had responded earlier (to the same interview in a different thread) to this more recent reaction, well, it is not only hypocritical but also angling for a race-bait style argument.

Not trolling or anything, I just think he's young and not very articulate.

He talks about his daughter in greater detail here:

“It’s not easy being away from my daughter because I love her and she’s my little bit of daylight. This is all for her and me and her mother, because I want us all to have a good life.

When I see myself getting paid good money by the UFC and I know my daughter is watching me on the TV, it’s all worth it in the end, to be away from her for that much time. It’s a big sacrifice, but it’s worth it.”

It was just a joke. Calm down, Francis.
