Deadly Class being adapted for television

Announced at San Diego Comic-Comic the Image comic series by Rick Remender and Wes Craig is being adapted for television.

Reports are it will be produced by Sony Pictures TV and the Russo brothers. They're targeting cable networks and streaming services. Series co-creator Rick Remender will co-write the pilot.

I for one am totally skeptical. I love the comic series and wish the creators success but I will probably stick to the comic books on this one.

The story takes place in the 80's and revolves around a group of kids at a high school for assassins.
