Shortly after losing his title at UFC 227, Demetrious Johnson says he’s more upset at getting injured than the somewhat disputed split decision. He says he came in 100%, but got hurt midway through the contest against Henry Cejudo.

“I think I probably tore my right LCL, and then my right foot might be broken,” Johnson revealed during the post-fight press conference.

“I think the right LCL probably happened in the second or third round. I remember we were scrambling, I maybe shot, and he pushed me over and I rolled over my right knee and I felt a pop. I was like ‘Yep, there goes the right LCL. Fantastic.’

He didnt look like he usual dominate self from the middle rounds on.

Hope he recovers quick and gets back in there.

I wonder if he rematches Cejudo or not since Cejudo wants to challege Killashaw.

No reason to believe he's not being truthful, though I'll be interested in hearing if his injury suspicions are confirmed.

That could explain why Cejudo was actually able to win the way he did. Not to take anything away from Henry, but he got blown out the first time and we've never seen anyone at 125 do what he did to DJ. So a couple of injuries that affected DJ's movement would make sense.

BTW, Cejudo via Decision was +750. Seemed like a fool's errand even at those odds, but you know some wild man bet that and was very happy that they did.

I did see him kick knee twice when Henry checked...looked like he landed all foot on one of them and that doesn't go well

These guys are 50/50 every time they fight. Such an even match.
