Anyone else watch Premier Boxing Champions today? I missed the first few fights but caught Burns vs Figueora. MY GOD what a back and forth war down to the wire. 12th round, momentum shifting from one guy to the other
Point is, if you did not see this fight, go out of your way to do so. There was some holding and clinching in the middle rounds but by the end, every single person in that building was on their feet as these 2 just kept going and going.
Boxing is on TV now more than it has been in 40+ years. It's great. PBC had a rough start to me, I didn't like it that much right away, but it's slowly getting better all around - the fights, production, etc.
The only thing is that it's a time buy.. meaning Haymon is literally paying millions to have it on TV. Not the best formula. But I hope it works. If they keep having fights like this, it will
