This last UFC was fought under the ‘old’ set of rules...can someone give me the bullet points between the two sets of rules? I’ve never really bothered to look into it!

why is there more than 1 set of unified rules in the first place? are they unified or are they not unified?

They're unified by the ABC but they don't have the authority to force every commission to adhere to their rules, merely suggest them.

There's a link to the new rules.

Fun part of this is that even some of the commissions that have adopted the new rules haven't necessarily adopted all of them.
I think Nevada is using a modified version of the new rules as they didn't like the grounded fighter rule as it was written.
