Rented a R/t model today for an experiment. Holy fuck I love it. The noise that engine makes my cunt drip. It's a little heavy but it's got some ass when you drop the hammer.

Anyone have one?

I think I'ma get one of the higher end models. The rt scat pack has nearly 500 hp and is under 40 grand.

Wow I just looked it up, one I'm in is 375 hp. The scat pack one is 485! Cant imagine how it pulls.

6.4l engine compared to my 3.7 in the Z. And I whooped a challenger in my Z 18 months back (gotta have been a pussy entry level model now I look into it)

I can only find numbers for the 2015 but it was 4.2 0-60 compared to my 4.9 for my 2011 Z. I'm pretty sure it's sub 4 seconds in the 2017 model, my buddy had a rental one and we research it.


I think next time I'm back I'm gonna rent an F type and then decide.

I couldn't do a viper. I spent hours of my life trying to put that fucker around the corkscrew on Gran Turismo to get my international A license. I hate that fucker.

Same with mustang. I rented one past 2 months or so. First one was great. Second fell to bits. I had to smack the rear bumper in daily because the train track crossing was knocking it to pieces.

A year or so back I got talked out of getting a gt500. Apparently the ride is shit and it will only do a couple hundred miles. I'd still consider it tho as it does 200 mph (or so they claim, I'd find out in Yuma)

I talked to a guy who had a hell cat at a car show. He said he traded his scat pack in for it. I've never ridden in either one, but he said the difference was night and day. If the scat pack makes your panties wet, you would be squirting for the hell cat. I don't think $65 gets them tho. Seems like they are North of 70k. Amazing machine, but way out of my price range.

There are tons of Hellcats listed on Autotrader for less than 60K. They may have a few discounts that aren't compatible on there, but it looks like you can get nearly 10K off MSRP if you are willing to shop around.

Apparently NASA has the technology to power an electric car for 500 miles (most current ones can only go 200 miles, after which they require an approximate 8-hour charge), but they're not releasing said technology to the public.

What's worse is the fact that charging stations/ports aren't very widespread.

So if you wanted to take a long road trip, you'd have to make sure there are charging stations along your route, or you'd be up shit's creek without a paddle.
