The phrase "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" is only confusing if you don't know where you are.
A woman aboard a Las Vegas-to-Honolulu flight reportedly became enraged when a flight attendant asked her repeatedly to stop vaping on the plane.
Witnesses say 34-year-old Kristin Sharp was belligerently drunk and smoking an e-cigarette in her seat and in the restroom. After the Allegiant Air flight attendant asked her to stop multiple times, Sharp allegedly began cussing, flashed her breasts to the cabin and tried to hit the attendant with a soda can.
Sharp denies that she was drunk and aggressive.
"That is not true, I didn't mean to throw it at him. I was trying to hit the trash can next to him," Sharp said in an interview with Hawaii News Now.
Sharp admits to vaping on the plane, but says the flight attendant was rude and lacked etiquette.
"I think he had a bad day, and was taking it out on me with a bad attitude," she said.
After the incident, Sharp and her boyfriend were moved to different seats. She reportedly fell asleep for the rest of the flight.
Sharp was detained by the FBI upon landing, but has yet to be charged. The investigation is ongoing.
