What's up guys... so this fight is most likely the one to go down next for Khabib. How do you guys think they match up? Personally I think Khabib does what he always does to Dustin. Grind him out... POSSIBLE finish, or win via decision more likely.

Dustin has the better more polished stand up 100%, but I don't think he has the Wrestling pedigree to stop Khabib's game. I can see Khabib clinching up, consistently going for takedowns, wearing The Diamond out til he secures one... then the typical Khabib smashing on the ground. Dustin has a shot if he lands something early when he is fresh.

The guy to pose the biggest threat to Khabib and is my "Anti-Khabib" has to be Tony Ferguson. His skillset is tailor-made to give Khabib problems. We have to see that fight go down... Tony deserves it, and it would be a crazy fight. I'd actually favor Tony.

So anyway... who ya got, Dustin or Khabib and why?

I agree with your assessment on khabib vs Dustin..But Imho Gaethje poses the biggest threat to khabib.. Way better td D than Tony and has more 1 punch ko power to hurt Khabib and can frustrate khabib into a brawl.. Gaethje is 1 of only 2 guys that Can maybe beat khabib.. In all honesty Tony shouldn't ever fight again if his latest episodes aren't drug related..Gregor Gillespie is another guy that imho is top 3 in the UFC right now and too has some of thr best wrestling credentials im ther ufc busting a 4x All American NCAA Champ... He's a bigger better Frankie with Elite wrestling..But I think he's on the smaller side at 55 but only time will tell.. Remember I said it if khabib is loses it's Either Gaethje or Gregor..

Damn totally forgot about Gaethje! Yessss that dude is super dangerous, and you're so right about his Wrestling and one punch KO power. Yep, styles make fights, Gaethje is a problem 100%.

I like Tony's unpredictable diverse stand up, his scrambling and sub threats. His cardio is top notch will not get tired. He won't just get smashed on his back like everyone else, without offering some kind of threat, tricky dude.

Tony appears to be really messed up in the head.........don’t know what’s really going on there but at this point, I don’t think we’ll ever see that fight with Khabib scheduled for 46th time

    Khabib all day.

Especially if Khabib is healthy and knows which opponent to train for

Don’t really see anyone beating him unless Khabib makes a mistake, like showboating or deviating from his plan which should be “100% take the fucker down”

Porier is in his absolute prime. Not saying I think he beats Khabib, but I'm not going to underestimate him. He is well rounded, showing the ability to throw with power over 5 rounds, has great cardio even under distress, and he is as hungry as they come. Khabib will be coming off a long layoff, so anything can happen.

Khabin under normal circumstances... but Dustin's technique is cleaner.
All Poirier has to do is not get taken down or ridden like a cheap mule and he can win.

Pretty confident Khabib wrestles his way to a decisive win in this one.

If he comes in like raging Al then yes.....commit 100% to takedown defence for the first 2 rounds then turn it into a slobber knocker.

But only if he commits to takedowns defence and winning in the scrambles.....also has to constantly keep his back of the fence.

Khabib destroys Dustin. Tony Ferguson has even less of a chance, would get ragdolled into oblivion.

I agree with @ECC170@ECC170 only guys with chance are gaethje and McGregor. And I'd also throw Kevin Lee in there as one with a shot.

You think Kevin lee’s Overall grappling game is better than Ferguson?

Lee has takedowns over Ferguson that’s it

That take down game is why I think Lee has a shot. I don't think he'll take down and out grapple khabib. He has crisper, faster, straighter striking than khabib and might have the take down defence to keep it on the feet, be in the pocket and out strike khabib.
Ferguson doesn't have that wrestling defence calliber like lee, nor the agility to keep the distance like a mcgregor, so I think he'll be getting thrown around at will, and don't believe he has anywhere near the jitz skills to submit or really even threaten khabib from the bottom.

Who's the best submission guy at 155? We've never even seen khabib even really threatened on the ground have we?

In mma, probably khabib, but he softens em first by using hundreds of punches to set up his subs.
Pure jitz, straight subs... Maybe Charles Oliveira?

I don't think it is a good place to be locked up with Khabib anywhere...he has so many tricks and he will pound a black belt to white belt fairly quickly I would think
