President Donald Trump kicked off Memorial Day weekend by playing golf at his club in Sterling,
For what it's worth, my favorite thing about the article is that they put a salacious, click bait title. it's followed by an article about how the law firm isn't dropping her because they don't believe her but because of the double standard the media is exposing her to, and then they end it with a fund raiser where their lead in is:“Our decision … is by no means a reflection on whether then Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms Reade,” Douglas Wigdor said in a statement. “On that point, our view – which is the same view held by the majority of Americans, according to a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll – has not changed.”
Yeah, no kidding news is under threat. You're killing it.News is under threat ...
… just when we need it the most.
It does not say that at all.isn't dropping her because they don't believe her but because of the double standard the media is exposing her to
"Our Firm no longer represents Tara Reade. Our decision, made on May 20, is by no means a reflection on whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms. Reade. On that point, our view which is the same view held by the majority of Americans, according to a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll has not changed. We also believe to a large extent Ms. Reade has been subjected to a double standard in terms of the media coverage she has received.
— Wigdor's full statement on the decision"Much of what has been written about Ms. Reade is not probative of whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted her, but rather is intended to victim-shame and attack her credibility on unrelated and irrelevant matters. We genuinely wish Ms. Reade well and hope that she, as a survivor, is treated fairly. We have and will continue to represent survivors regardless of their alleged predator’s status or politics."
Meanwhile, defense lawyers in California have said that they are reviewing criminal cases in which Reade has served as an expert witness on domestic violence, out of concern that she had misrepresented her educational credentials in court.
Days after CNN raised questions about Reade’s educational background, a spokesperson for Antioch University confirmed to the New York Times that she had not received a degree from the school.
Are you victim blaming and trying to discredit a victim of sexual abuse? Also mentioned
That’s some funny shit.It does not say that at all.
Maybe you wrote what you meant incorrectly. It does say that the law firm thinks that there is a double standard but never states that as their reason to drop her.

Whether inadvertently or intentionally, you basically did what you're mocking that headline for doing. Except that headline is accurate. She was dropped by them. Probably because of how full of shit she is even if she's truly a victim. A firm like that doesn't want to risk a loss when they're making so much money fighting the Weinsteins of the world, of which Biden may actually be one as well.
