I think you might have forgotten the impact of Biden being vide president and then suddenly everyone finds out his son is dead from brain cancer.
Biden didn't really show it much until after. It all appeared very sudden with the juxtaposition of Biden in public life as VP and then wtf your son has terminal brain cancer and is dead.

It's not illegal income. But it is a common tactic for political parties too purchase a candidate's book en masse to to both make it run at the top of the best seller list artificially and to then give that book out to supporters for their donations.
That is a type of way to take those donations and essentially subsidize a book contract.

I don't see any evidence that happened here. Bidens book deal was a flat amount purchased to the rights.

Likewise Obama made something like 65 million in his book deal. Again this is not contingent on the amount sold.

It's much dirtier when you see a candidate write a book and then fail their campaign after their campaign has bought a million copies of the book they wrote. That's the common "money laundering" way.

But I don't see any of that happening here since he did it upon leaving office and wasn't running for anything or involved in any campaigns buying it en bloc.

I wonder why Biden only made a very brief reference to this in the debates? This is quite straightforward ton understand.


Trump seemed to believe that just adding more and higher tariffs and maintaining them for longer would produce better results, but so far history is repeating itself both as tragedy and farce. Three and a half years into his presidency, Trump’s trade war has led to the loss of around 300,000 U.S. jobs, a tax of some $46 billion on U.S. importers (most of which has been passed along to consumers) and at least $28 billion in taxes to compensate U.S. farmers for the markets they lost when China retaliated
