Would love to know what the punished workers did to get sent home.
It's a shame but we see unions overreaching so much to the point where it gets in the way of people's ability to do business.
I worked at a grocery store when I was younger and one of the senior employees got caught stealing and eating food in the back warehouse. She got fired but the union got her job back almost immediately. If you - as a business owner - can't fire an employee for stealing from you, what the fuck? smh
At our local municipality, there was a city worker who was fired because he would clock in, and then just drive to the gym, work out, go home, come back for a bit, and then just drive around - effectively doing no work all day. They figured this out because they had trackers in all the city trucks. They fired him last year... and now the union has gotten his job back, and what's more, the city has to pay him a year's back pay for all the work he missed! Unreal! Our tax dollars at work lol
