Face tattoo guy at Jackson-Wink

Julian Wallace, known for beating up his girlfriend (charges to which he pled guilty) and getting knocked out by Cody Garbrandt's cousin whilst sort-of training for a brief stint at Team Alpha Male (although not as a formal team member), is now training at Jackson-Wink.

"Rowdy" Bec Rawlings, currently best known for getting knocked out by Paige VanZant's highlight reel switch kick, is calling out Jackson's for allowing the admitted domestic abuser to train with their team.

Rawlings posted comments on both Instagram and Twitter:

Wallace and Rawlings are both from Australia, and the Twitter comments imply they may have some history of being former acquaintances.

Outside of Pedo's why should they give a fuck. This is a fighting gym. If War Machine gets out in 50 years they'd probably let him train there too. Why not?

I dont like the guy, I personally wouldnt like to work with the guy, but you can hardly blame them. You start the "we only train good, humble, law abiding people" in a sport that involves violence you go out of business pretty quick.

Just to clarify, the guy is clearly an asshole. I am speculating as to Jackson Wink's approach.

guys like that create a bad training environment wherever they go.
I've seen it happen several times, I even had to ask one guy to go train at some other gyms and see if he "fit in better" somewhere else.

It does seem like the UFC has a history of bringing in this type of background, then being COMPLETELY blown away when it goes badly.

Can you not just say "you're an asshole, nobody wants to train with you, get lost"?

sure, but that sets a negative tone in and of itself. It's important to start from the premise of treating everyone the way you want to be treated - in every situation. In this situation, I had a conversation with the guy about his behavior (ape-smashing newbies), attempted to build some empathy by grinding him out (after I told him exactly what I was going to do and why), and he'd still show up a couple times a month just to smash white belts. He'd also try to gorilla his way out of tight submissions by guys better than him, basically leveraging the fact that they didn't want to break his arm to power his way out. And in doing so created dangerous situations for himself and his partners.

Jiu-jitsu isn't fun when you're worried about having to miss work for a couple weeks or being injured for a couple months because some dude's ego wouldn't let him tap.

I know man, I was being a weisenheimer........agree on having some professionalism in handling the situation.
I always treated everyone with respect when i was in class - except made the mistake of staring at my instructors/coach girlfriend's ass the first day.....I didn't know it was his girlfriend and he eventually let me know, in a nice way, when he let me roll with him.......

Jackson is in the business of training criminals and mentally unstable people. They use their criminal past as a base to promote illegal techniques like eye pokes. He's the perfect candidate and honestly I can see him winning a championship under Jackson and Wink. They'll teach him exploit the rules with shitty, tentative gameplans as well as oblique kicks and then this turd nugget will beat Mighty Mouse. Although im not sure if he's a flyweight anymore because by the looks of him he's on the same shit they have Jon Jones on.
