It was a game of real cop, fake cop in the Florida panhandle.
An Escambia County man was arrested Friday and charged with posing as a law enforcement officer after he pulled over an actual deputy.
"(The officer) saw the emergency lights, and he pulled over to the side to let him go by," Sgt. Andrew Hobbs told the press, "(Lynam) pulled up behind him, and pretty much did a traffic stop."
According to Hobbs, officials arrested Lynam after the deputy requested to see his identification and he could not present it. Lynam was released from Escambia County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
In 2013, Lynam was reportedly arrested for threatening to beat an officer with a video game controller if he turned Lynam's computer off. The responding officer was conducting a welfare check after Lynam reportedly threatened to commit suicide.
