hey team!

what are some of your favorite bands that have come out over the last 5 years. here are 3 of mine


RDGLDGRN (pronounced "Red, Gold, Green"). these guys are phenomenal. I hate how they are affiliated with Dave Grohl, but their songs are so fucking good. they only have one EP out right now but every song is killer.

We Hunt Buffalo - Fuzz metal / grunge band from Vancouver BC. so fuzzy and catchy it hurts. take Kyuss and add a classic rock element to it and you have We Hunt Buffalo.

Im gonna go with Royal Blood. For a two piece band they make a hell of a lot of noise

my buddy just turned me on to them a few weeks ago...pretty good band IMO.

if you like the 2-piece group idea, check out a band from the 90's called Local H. they have like 10 albums, just released one last year, all are fucking wicked. their early stuff sounds like really heavy nirvana, but anything after their first 2 albums are different than that. they make concept albums, each album has a different story told though each song. they are in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. seen them close to 20 times in concert.

Local H be fine though.

I've had a cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic" by them popping up on my playlists for a decade maybe but never got into them more. that one cover though is pure gold, and I remember that I first got into it because the dude at Mtv said it "sounds like Queens Of The Stone Age" which puts it in the badass category automatically.

they covered Lorde's Team, and fucking destroy it. like, lorde is a piece of shit artist IMO and this is a badass song thanks to LH...I love them so much.
