Yes. It's a solid movie other than some overacting by James Stewart - but it has nothing to do with Christmas. The fact that it is considered one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time is one of life's great mysteries.

It's based on a true story rather than actual documentation.

If I were including documentaries I'd have put in the recent Star Wars series as Mrs Beard and I go see them the weekend after Christmas as a holiday tradition.
