    Chuck Tito?

    Cain jds?

    Gracies Vs sakuraba?

    Wandy rampage?

    Forme it's bisping and bendo.

That thing went on for years and was culminated in the finest fashion, the count defends the belt and retires his nemesis at the same time. It was beautiful.

Silva and Sonnen easily. The build ups to both fights were like no other to me and they made me feel like everything was on the line. I still remember how it felt like forever to wait for June when Sonnen had beaten Bisping in January. I even watched the same fan made trailers over and over again during exam week when I should have actually maybe been studying.

Great topic. Wow, this is a tough one.

Tito / Chuck was incredible other than listening to Tito.
Hughes / B.J. and Hughes / GSP were both high level competition.
Ronda / Miesha was pretty intense, but hated the cattiness.
Jones / Rashad had a great storyline.
Conor / Khabib and Conor / Nate had a lot of drama. Conor / Aldo had great promotion.
Dana / Tito was a good one from a different angle.
Edgar / Maynard didn’t have trash talk, but was epic in the cage.

So many to choose from, but overall I’d have to say Jones / DC. Two GOAT candidates. True hatred. Fight at the press conference. Unanswered questions because of the NC. That epic ESPN split screen interview while they weren’t on the air (“Do your really think I’m going to sit there and let you kill me Jon?”).

Can we do least favorite rivalry next? (I’m looking at you TJ/Cody)

Diaz Vs McGregor. So much shit talk in such a short time, late replacement, quick witted Conor against the west coast stoner and a very exciting fight where the underdog won (which I called and won money on).

Diaz/McGregor got me. I was completely hooked I felt like a kid waiting for WWF Wrestlemania 1. The lead up and anticipation were great.

I really got invested in the Carwin/Lesnar build up and fight. It was a great good vs evil story line and Lesnar was looking like an unbeatable freak at the time.

Sonnen and Silva was a great lead up as well. Sonnen was such a heel, disrespecting Silva who at the time was the embodiment of all that was good in martial arts and a martial artist. I bought into his schtik so hard and I hated him.

Liddel/Candylei was a great rivalry too.

Making this list, I’m beginning to realize that I’m a sloppy bitch who loves drama.

Jones Vs DC 1 may well be the greatest build up of all time.

The first fight has my balls wrapped up in a barbed wire fence
I would suggest everyone watch the pre fight press conference and then the entire fight, walkout is a must..,,,

Been eating a lot of this stuff lately, not fag ravs. But ravioli and tortellini. Takes a couple minutes to make and it's delicious

Cro Cop-Fedor is forgotten, even if they only fought once. They were the two scariest dudes on the planet when they finally fought and the build up had lasted ages. Cro Cop's KO of Alexs (with footage of Fedor calling him a f aggot as he watched on) gave it an extra layer.

Obviously Jones-DC is the winner though. Probably the two best fighters in MMA history and they genuinely hate each other, brawled at pressers, talked shit to each other in the media - you objectively can't top it.

    Tito v Ken

came in to that rivalry a complete Shamrock nut-hugger, but I was Team Punishment after the first episode of TUF

Was one of mine too, no favourite but one that got me good..Ken had me convinced he could win that 2nd fight, not so much the 3rd, still annoyed me seeing him get handled so easily all the same.

    Fuckin Tito

I felt the same way, then I started watching TUF and saw that beyond all the clumsy self-promotion and uber-cringe, Tito is a good dude who honors his commitments.

It certainly pushed MMA into a more noticeable sport

Ken pointing his finger at Tito amd tito giving the middle finger was some good popcorn watching and waiting for the fight type stuff

The UFC was on thin ice at that stage. That rivalry was a major shot in the arm, it didn't just make the sport more noticable, it kept the UFC running.

man, if only Ken had literally knocked Tito's hair black. The 'living death chair kick' moment still stands as one of the most hilarious in MMA history.

I'm almost embarrased to admit but I stopped watching the UFC for a while after the 3rd fight.

I agree . I like Tito now he really did love his team on TUF, was a great coach
