For the first time in nearly three years, Fedor Emelianenko will return to the Untied States, even if not in a fighting capacity.

According to MMAFighting.com, the former PRIDE heavyweight champion will take part in the Bellator 134 fan festivities ahead of the event. He will join the likes of Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie, and Kimbo Slice in autograph signings and fan interactions at the Mohegan Sun.

"He's a legend of the sport," Bellator president Scott Coker said. "He should be here meeting his fans. We're excited, because it's the first time he's been in the United States for I want to say three years. It's a big deal."

For Galanis ...

Yea I was excited to hear about this. I remember him and Coker were meeting about a month ago. So it seems like he still has no interest in fighting again but IS willing to do appearances.

I keep thinking there HAS to be something to this.

If not soon then down the road. Coker is a smart man. I can see him laying crumbs out a year in advance. With the respectful relationship he can uphold with fighters, I can see him doing things other orgs cannot, as he's done in the past.

Coker is a good guy from what it seems and he seems to maintain good relationships with fighters unlike some people lol

Coker is the man, you can tell he really loves the fight game.

He did great work with Strikeforce and the fighters he brought in and the ones he developed through challengers are doing very well in the UFC now bar a few.
