Final pick for tomorrow - CroCop or Gonzaga?

What's everyone's prediction?

I hate to say it, but judging by the recent performances (and considering MMA is all about what have you done for me lately)... I think Mirko will take this. Crazy to say that in 2015, but that's just the way I see it going.

A year ago even I would've picked Gabriel. I'm a huge fan of both guys and I hate this fight. But, I was absolutely shocked at how slow Gabe looked against Mittrione. He's not the fastest or most nimble guy in the world, but he looked like he was in slow motion in that fight.

When Gonzaga came back to the UFC, he had a pretty good run with the Browne fight being his only misstep. It seemed like he was fighting smarter than he had in years.. but now it seems like age has caught up to him. However, considering his losses to Stipe (which, when you think about how good Stipe did against JDS, is not such a bad loss with hindsight) and Matt in recent fights, I have to pick CroCop.

CroCop is going to come in really motivated and I just feel like he will only need one good shot to Gonzaga's chin, and even though they're both way older, I believe CroCop is faster. I don't think Gabe is gonna get him down, but if he does ,that's how I see him winning.

Either way, I'm excited, but hate to see either guy lose.

I have to say though. I don't think Gonzaga is going to try to stand, I think he will go for the takedown right away. He just moves so slow even when trying to get a guy down. Then again, I thought he'd try to drag Matt to the floor right away also, but he just stood in front f him flat footed. If CroCop is able to shuck him off I see this fight ending early.

Maybe it'll be a 5 round war with a controversial decision. I have no idea because I can't predict the future, so please don't take what I'm saying as fact. It's just how I see the fight playing out in my head.. but as we all know, that means nothing.

Crazy shit happens all the time, and you need to look no further than the first meeting between these two for one of those "who the hell could have ever predicted THAT" moments.

this is such a hard one to pick. i like them both also, so i hate this fight for the possibility of a pink slip for the loser. this would be three straight losses for gonzaga, and mirko's fourth straight loss for the ufc. i think crocop is much better off financially, so i may be pulling for gabe. i'd hate to see crocop go out on another loss though. i hate this fighting nonsense.

I'm guessing that Gabe will attempt the head lick at least once with hopes of reliving the moment. I also see Mirko absolutely hating that somebody stole his move and used it on him. I think that Crocop will punish the body with kicks and drop Gabe with a his straight left and earn a TKO W.
