Fines were $50 a day and the guy got pissed and decided to double and triple down on the signs. It went on for 3.5 years which totaled $63,000, and the guy just let it accumulate without paying a cent. Obviously the guy has money (Santa Rosa is one of the most expensive cities in Florida, and his house looks pretty massive), so he had fun putting up more signs and just paying lawyers to fight it out in court.
