He's done it before. I 100% believe him. He has one fight left and will then retire. It's not like the UFC really, the belts are different.. So many alphabet orgs, etc

I'm sure he will keep the million dollar belt and the physical properties themselves. But he's the champ at 147 and 154, and will not be around to defend those titles anymore after September.

Who needs belts when you got a 100 million dollar check, and waiting for another 100 million in back end.

Well, we are now well into Tuesday and all I am hearing is rematch talk, nothing about relinquishing the belts. How do you take a guy like this seriously?

This is a good point, when he said that on the press conference video I watched, my first thought was "what difference does it make", this isn't going to change the fact that he can still do what he wants.........second thought was "what higher level point am I missing here?"....still waiting

Even if they rematch, Floyd will still probably relinquish the titles. Trust me on this. They are not like the UFC where holding the belts is a huge deal. He'll still be recognized as the #1 in the weight class by the Ring mag and any other list/media. Just won't hold the belts anymore. No point if he's only gonna fight 1 more time. He relinquished his belts when he retired in 2008. So I expect him to do it again.
