Mayweather was at the sold-out Faena Forum in South Florida Tuesday night where he was presented with the "Champion of Israel" Award from friends Jona Rechnitz and James McNair ... recognizing the legend's enormous contributions to the Israelis.

Remember, TBE sent his Air Mayweather private jet, flown by his pilots, to Tel Aviv with over 5,000 lbs. of supplies for both civilians and the military (he even hopped on a video call and had a chat with a special forces unit that received some of the equipment).

Floyd also attended a pro-Israeli rally in Los Angeles where he marched with thousands of fellow supporters ... and even sold custom TMT hats online with proceeds going to charity.

I got sent a link the other day, saying that Floyd had been found dead in his home. I couldn't believe it, hurriedly clicked the link...

.. and was presented with a picture of a smiling, naked old man.

I prefer Floyd the fighter. Although he’s done other good deeds for people and kids in need. Not this time buddy.

You're smoking crack. He is probably the best boxer of all time. 27 of his fights were at super featherweight. He moved up in weight to chase more money fights. The last of his fights he was fighting at far over his natural weight. He was known to weigh in over the weight he would be fighting at the following night. That is the reason he wasn't the most exciting in the latter part of his career because he couldn't match the power of the far larger opponents (who fought at 10-15lbs over the weigh-in weight). Every weight class over his natural fighting weight he dominated, even though he shouldn't have (5 divisions total in his professional career). As a pure boxer it's hard to argue he isn't the best or top two.

Floyd is far from my favorite, but the question was where does he rank all time. My favorites like yours are far lower on all time greatest list, but brought blood, guts, and wall to wall excitement is almost every fight. Favorites off the top of my head are Roy Jones (should be somewhere on the list), Canelo (story isn't over yet, will be on the list ranked well), Pacman (there is a place for him on the list, somewhere), Prince Naseem (not on the list, but arguably the most entertaining fighter to ever watch), Gatti (not on the list, but JUST BLEED!), GGG (not on the list), Sugar Ray (should be ranked fairly high on the list), Foreman (there is a place for him), Lennox (there is a place for him), Ward (doesn't cut it, but holy shit was he fun to watch), De La Hoya (ranked somewhere, but giving up on the stool knocked him a few pegs lower, and dressing up his panty hoes and a wig knocks him an additional few pegs lower), Mayorga (balls to the wall blood and guts, nowhere on the list though), Tyson (he's somewhere on the list), Diego Corrales (very fun to watch, not anywhere close to being on the list) etc...

I’m probably Floyd’s biggest nut hugger around but I’d be generous putting him at #10. Which is amazing considering all the greats before him. He’s definitely the best of the 90’s and up.

I obviously disagree completely. GOATs would have to stack up to present day skills, technique development, and always evolving year round training. Some people may have been the greatest of their time, but in present day would not be as successful, if successful at all. Mayweather, at this point in time, is that guy, imo.

I might add, that others regarded as GOAT would be greater with modern training and developments, but that simply isn't the case since the past is the past. It's why the GOAT list will be ever changing.

A lot of today’s fighters have studied past fighters and tried to emulate different styles, moves etc.

Your opinion is unique and different. A lot of boxing historians and fans wouldn’t agree with your take. But it’s your opinion so that’s okay.
