Wow.
Imagine this card going as is, amazing fight!
Anyway, the UFC has become relatively hypothetical in terms of scheduled fights actually taking place.

I'm doubling my bet that this card does not take place as announced to $400 virtual bucks.

Well Rothwell looks to be already out. Need to get Reem in to complete the Werdum trilogy.

Just saw that.

I'm re-negotiating my terms to assume Rothwell is out, and that the terms now include that Rothwell's first announced replacement be entered into the bet.
And, the bet has risen again to
$1000.

Great Card. May the MMA Gods let it happen as planned!!!

Really like the Frankie vs Yair fight, great addition and want to see how these two deal with each other. Would definately be to Frankie's advantage going fifve rounds. As he will have to recover and come back after being dropped and bloodied after the first round. LOL

Wow!! No injuries please! How is Rothwell fighting?
Right, he's got to get that whole USADA thing straightened out. I read somewhere Werdum is already talking about new opponents for the fight ... maybe they'll put Ngannou in there?

Ya, don't see that working out too well for Edgar. The reach and speed are already against him. He may constantly move but I see that Yair dude having little problems homing in on his tendencies.

There's a big difference in competiton the two have faced. Yair is a great looking prospect but this will be a huge step up for him. It will do one of two things, show a changing of the guard or expose the young fighter. I wouldn't count Edgar out. He's got a great coaching team who can figure out some sort of plan. Yair hasn't faced a wrestler near the capabilities of Frankie or anyone with the cardio. If the fight goes past a couple of rounds Yair's style is draining and Frankie will be able to take over.

If Yair beats Frankie, any questions about his legitimacy should be put to rest. He'll be right there in contention for a title shot.

Excellent points.
But Edgar's style has never impressed me much. He seems to use erratic movement to confuse and evade opponents but to me it looks like like he just moves for movement's sake and tries to exploit openings which I see as different than deliberately setting them up. Holding down a longer fighter is hard. I am picking Yair by head kick k.o inside of 2 rounds.

But we'll see, if I'm wrong then so be it.
