Back flip off a 75ft cliff? Sounds like a grand idea.
thanks man. now i need an ativan
FULL SCREEN BABY
Love Go Pro vids.
These idiots can entertain me as long as their stupid asses keep doing this shit.
YUGE set on that guy
how many humans broke a bone after watching this video?
even this guy almost puts his knee thru his lip landing that big air
Some people are crazy (and amazing)...
Aint that the truth
I used to do crazy shit on snow and water...40-70+ foot drops snowboarding, and did a few 70 foot cliff jumps(till the guy after me broke his arm from impact with the water)
But never had balls or whatever to do that on concrete or dirt...saw too many folks put their arms/legs on backwards
Dude, where did you used to snowboard?
I used to ride tons, took some big hucks/drops in my day too. And in the days before helmets
When I got back into it again everyone was wearing helmets. I was resistant until I tried one one, they are comfy as hell. Feel safer too. I am old.
Oregon(Mt Bachelor has great terrain and an amazing Bowl, Mt Hood is fun also...and some smaller locations also)
Used to save up for season passes and deal Herb in the resort towns...did a few years as a Ski Bum banging Snow Bunnies and riding 150+ days a year...this was the early days of snowboarding and we were all about deep powder and huge air...some really great times were had
I don't even go anymore...spending money paying down mortgages...I used to get season passes for two great resorts for about $1100 or so and nowadays that gets you about 10 days of skiing instead of 150
@BirdWatcher rides, he has posted some great images from on the Hill
Fuck you @Outlaw Shit , those are some choice places to ride. I also did 2 winters as total ski bum, living at the mountains poor as hell but seasons pass and in heaven. Ski bunnies were all poor as fuck too so even playing field lol
Now I'm also paying off mortgages and broke ass dad life.
What is wrong with us?
I miss the big mountain powder really bad sometimes. Would love to ride Oregon & Montana/Washington state someday
If I hit the lottery we will go Heli Boarding
chances are slim cause I don't play the lottery but...
My dream in life has always to go heli-boarding in BC before I'm dead. I've always said if I ever somehow get rich or make a pile o cash enough to get a little greedy with, that's what I would spend it on.
I'll go with ya pal
before our hips and knees don't work
I know a helicopter pilot in Alaska and his winter gig is heli dropping skiers and boarders for 3 or 4 months. Just saying....Alaska may be cool too if ya need a hookup
That is a historic jump in the MB world. Those red bull rampage guys are the 1% of the 1% of the talent pool. They are all absolute beasts, and every year the Rampage event gets more and more crazy/intense/difficult. These are they guys pushing the limits of what can be accomplished on two wheels.
Love this shit!
This is an older one, but Josh Bender was one of the original “big drop” riders. This is the 70-foot “Jaw Drop”. I still can’t believe he had the balls to keep hitting this thing over and over. Absolute madman!
Bender also played a huge role in developing the Red Bull Rampage events, so he’s sort of a pioneer in that way. He helped pick lines for the courses and stuff like that, and he was always willing to be the first guy to test it out
Love it. Anyone who's tried drops has experienced something like this at least once. Lmao at the vocals.
I just saw this a couple days ago. Danny is one of my favorites, he has done some incredible videos.
You may have seen this one already, and I posted it in th mountain bike thread a while back, but this is maybe my favorite mountain bike video ever. Also works for this thread
