You are terribly misinformed.
Apples to oranges.
U.S. superiority has come by way of extension & intervention.
Russia's been rebuilding since Putin's first minute.
They stealthed their nuclear missiles 15 years ago, started before that.
Their MERV's, subs, helicopters, tanks & SAM's are better now, and have been more than not over the last 50 years.
Russias nuclear superweapons are beyond ours, and even during the fall of the USSR, Russia had more warheads than us despite being twice as big with one-third the population. And they own bigger conventional weapons, better anti-ship weapons.
They also incorporated super-cooled closed circuit defense systems before we thought it necessary.
U.S. has enjoyed tactical superiority over a much broader range, with more resources, far bigger budget, more of everything including carriers.
Russia doesn't need carriers.

Don't underestimate the significance of a people who launched the first satellite into space, and first person, and only crafts to land on Venus, pioneered thrust vectoring, and own the biggest man-made explosion in human history.
And a people who lost more population in a single war than all others combined(save China) over the last 75 years.
That's a perspective I don't think many Americans consider.

I forgot to mention, they can put 1/4 of their population underground sustained for 2 months.
There are no more fallout shelters for us blue collar guys. Gotta be a multi-millionaire for that.

It's all a herring
The real threat is China. By long and far.
Economically and strategically. Not yet kinetic

The CCP has made it clear a long time ago that it seeks world domination. It has allies the Soviets never had : a financial elite (wall Street) sold to them because of duh access to market and juicy profit margins.

We could go on. Look it up it's no tinfoil hat bs.
Dislike Trump all you want but he's 100,% right in dealing with the CCP.
China is asshoe.

Great post.
The power China got when the IMF accepted their application for the yuan as a reserve currency probably can't be accurately measured.
You have to consider what the IMF had to consider when approving that.
It speaks VOLUMES.

So not only can they pump out technology and manpower on a scale no one else *is*, U.S. sanctioned states get implied contracts with China for goods.

The greatest regional asset we have is our covert relationship with India in regards to all-out war, but in terms of geopolitics they're only a last resort ally.

Henry Kissinger warns of ‘catastrophic’ conflicts unless China and US settle their differences

Conflict between the
United States and China
will be “inevitable” and result in “a catastrophic outcome” that “will be worse than world wars” unless the countries settle their differences, according to former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger.
“We are in a difficult period now. I am confident the leaders on both sides will realise the future of the world depends on the two sides working out solutions and managing the inevitable difficulties,” he said at an event hosted by the National Committee on US China Relations in New York on Thursday.

“There is no doubt many aspects of the evolution of China are challenging to the US,” the 96-year-old said. “It never happened before that two major countries in different parts of the universe were in similar positions.”

But they must understand that a permanent conflict between them could not be won and would end in “a catastrophic outcome” for Beijing and Washington, he said.

Kissinger
The closest thing we have to a real life Darth Vader.
Can't he still admit he got shafted by the CCP?
