Garbrandt vs. Mizugaki in the works for UFC 202

An important bantamweight fight is close to being added to UFC 202.

According to sources, the UFC is working on finalizing Cody Garbrandt vs. Takeya Mizugaki for the Aug. 20 card. The fight has yet to be made official, though.

Garbrandt (9-0) is coming off a first-round knockout of Thomas Almeida in May. He's a perfect 4-0 inside the Octagon.

Mizugaki (21-9-2) most recently defeated George Roop via unanimous decision in September.

I don't see Garbrandt having a problem with Mizuki.
Should be a fun fight.

Having said that, I kind of expected Cody to get someone a little higher ranked. UFC rankings have Mizugaki at #11.

Too bad Bryan Tate is ducking him, I'd rather watch him get smashed.

I feel this isnt the fight he wanted or deserved. Cruz is trolling him by getting the UFC to match him up against the man he made mince meat of after 456 years out of the cage.
