Georges St-Pierre has been out of the promotion for 18 months now and fans are still wondering if he'll ever return. He has been asked time and time again, and the answer is usually a variation of "maybe".

St-Pierre (25-2, 19-2 UFC) will handle the standard question-and-answer before the UFC 186 weigh-ins on April 25th, along with his teammate and the next welterweight title challenger, Rory MacDonald. The Q&A is for Fight Club members.

I think this could be a really interesting Q&A. Will be interesting to see his approach to the obvious questions about future fight plans

Always the bridesmaid!
lol... rory is going to be champ at some point, and he will have all of the attention, but people have been waiting to see georges for a long time now. i think he he may actually give a definite answer to the future fight plans questions. there's got to be some reason for him being there, other than cornering rory.

LMAO!

I've done my time & paid for it. Interviewed GSP many times, here's the last article I wrote on him last year: What's Next for Georges St-Pierre

MMA’s fortunes in Canada have risen and fallen with one man: Georges St-Pierre. As St-Pierre was vacating his UFC welterweight title last December, the momentum of the sport slowed due to athlete injuries, oversaturation of product and the lack of recognizable stars within the MMA sphere.

Sitting down to talk with St-Pierre atThe Gentlemen’s Expo this Saturday, he gave answers that created even more questions—chiefly among them, the question over whether he would return to the sport that opportunistically needs him to offset the UFC’s flailing fortunes both globally and in Canada.

“If I ever plan on coming back, it’s because I know I’m ready to come back,” St-Pierre tells me as we converse in the makeshift greenroom before his speaking engagement at the Expo.

Professional MMA is a far cry from the tradition, respect and discipline that St-Pierre was weaned on in the karate dojos of his youth. In fact, promoters take great care to encourage drama: television personalities ask questions designed to instigate; certain reality shows are stocked with endless supplies of booze that lubricates conflict and promotion executives lash out with expletives and insinuations that would make a sailor blush.

I've always wondered how fighters get compensated for stuff like appearances and q and a's. Do you have any information on this?
I think when they are under contract they have to do media appearances. It was something i remember Roger Huerta has an issue with before. He said they get a per diem when they go places but the money was part of their contract or something.

But since GSP quit fighting, im wondering if the UFC can force him to do media duties unless they through out a little extra cash for him to do it. But then again since its in montreal already maybe he wanted to do it.
