Not only did I sign a bout agreement to fight Rashad Evans at #UFCMexicoCity, but my wife and I closed on our first home. And, just as important, my wife and I made the major decision to adopt a child from Africa.
Adopting a child is not easy. It’s a very involved process that takes time and money, but after having three children of our own, my wife and I are ready to open our family to another child; something spoke to us.
We always had the idea of adopting a child, but the original plan was to wait until my wife completed her doctorate. But then she found a child in need, and we decided this was the perfect time and opportunity for us.
