I am against all corporate participation in elections. The Supreme Court decided that corporations can make unlimited contributions to super pacs. I don't see this as any different.

Google has an effective monopoly (92%) on search results. It's a bit different when they manipulate the results.

If there was competition in this space it would be fine IMO.

Monopolies should be broken up when they can and when they can't they need to operate under different rules.

Of course Google is s monopoly and should be broken up.
At the end if the day, if you allow corporations to use their assets to influence elections, you can't cry when they do. Even if they are more efficient than anticipated.
These are the unintended consequences of the short sighted supreme court rulings.
Win the battle but lose the war.
