UFC heavyweight Greg Hardy has been left frustrated by the loss in his UFC debut to Allen Crowder earlier this year, but he has described the experience as ‘humbling’.

The controversial Hardy (3-1) racked up three consecutive knockout wins in his amateur career before turning pro in June of last year. The former NFL star started his pro career in similiar fashion, winning his first three fights by knockout in all under a minute, two of which was for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

Hardy reflected on the illegal knee that led to his loss to Crowder in January when he spoke to MMA Fighting.

“It’s frustrating,” Hardy said. “It’s not difficult [to watch] but very…

I may take some heat for this but it seems like Hardy has matured and gained some humility since his incident while in the NFL.

I have no issue with his actions
It wasn’t like he was looking for a cheap shot to “get out of the fight”
He did what he did but they made a big deal out of that “cheap” shot

Jon Jones did the same thing his last fight
only difference is his opponent unwisely continued

I agree...I liked Hardy in that fight

the throwing a bitch around part from the NFL days is unsavory, but his in ring behavior is perfectly fine IMO

I'm still surprised by the amount of hate the guy gets. I mean Honda admitted to beating the fuck out of her boyfriend and with her it's like "you go girl!"...

I hate him for trying to steal the greatest illegal knee of all time title from count michael.

What a fight. The build up and the chaos during the fight. The chaos afterwards.
