Georges St-Pierre teased a move up to middleweight to challenge UFC champion Michael Bisping for his long-awaited UFC comeback, but that isn't the only weight class in the sights of the returning welterweight legend.

"If I wanted to, I could fight at lightweight as well. Easy. Easy," St-Pierre said Monday on The MMA Hour.

"I'm not a big welterweight," St-Pierre said. "I walk around 187 (pounds). I'm 186, 187 when I wake up in the morning, and I could easily make it (with) a diet, because a lot of lightweights are bigger than me. Welterweight, I don't even talk about it because most of them are bigger than me, of course, and middleweight, they're much bigger than me. But it's not really about size. It's about skills."

GSP would bury that division and never lose a fight. If he went to LW he would join the two divisions champ club with Randy and BJ. I hope he does.

If Edgar was still at Lightweight that would be an interesting fight.

I can't imagine a guy GSPs size making lightweight.
I can, easily, like he says. If Rumble can nearly die and make 170, then GSP could make 155. He's not small but also a hardly monster 170er. And a guy with that level of cardio and professionalism would be able to compensate for his losses in that department.

But it would an insult to the fair competition weight classes are supposed to create. He is certainly not a natural 155er and it would be a joke.

He's a solid looking 170. I just don't see it being a healthy option for him. Doesn't seem worth the cut.

I've grown tired of the gsp speculation and him feeding the media 'hints'. I wish he'd just shit or get off the pot already. He was my favorite, but now he's like the boy who cried wolf. I don't believe anything he says and is has been going on since they teased us with gsp/silva when they were in their primes. It was never going to happen, but it created a buzz. Something for people to talk about to stay fresh and relevant.

He could easily make 155.

His bone structure is quite light. The idiots that are saying that suddenly GSP wants to go down to LW because of USADA are complete idiots. Years ago, GSP said it would be easier for him to go to LW than MW when being pressured to move up to a weight class that he does not belong in at all. Also, anybody that has been to gyms, talked to those that are in the know or simply read interviews would know that Firas has been trying to get GSP to go down to LW for years.
