Last week was the last straw.

Hector Lombard has been very open about his dislike for cutting to welterweight. And after a loss to Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 85 on March 19 in Australia, he won't be doing it anymore.

Lombard announced Sunday on social media that he would be moving back up to middleweight, the weight in which he won the Bellator title and debuted in the UFC. The Cuban judoka with heavy hands said the lack of ability to use an IV to rehydrate (new to the UFC in the USADA era) played a major part.

If he fought Rockhold and the same ref from the Magny fight was in there Lombard could be the first death in the octagon

And this is gonna help him how?
It's almost like he took 70 unanswered shots to the head... oh wait....

Can we just get Lombard vs Bisping over with already?
Bisping said he wants to wait for a title shot which is optimistic and at the same time pointless IMO.

That being said, I don't think that weight class is good for Lombard.

It was ridiculous that he even made 170 to begin with. Way too big of a cut for a 38 year old to be making.

it's plausible he gets the next title shot though. Who else in the division(besides Jacare) would be next? If Vitor beats Jacare, Bisping has the best case for one.
