With a new flyweight champion being crowned for the first time in the division’s history, there is one thing that cannot be argued: a seismic shift has occurred regarding the who’s who in the division. However, what is almost equally as indisputable is that Demetrious Johnson is deserving of a rematch, or at least as deserving as anyone has ever been in the promotion’s history. Henry Cejudo, however, firmly adopting the “out with the old” ideology, isn’t so sure that’s what’s best for the flyweight division for the time being.
