Here's the problem with Wednesday's press conference

There won't be a single media member in attendance, that will have the balls to ask a tough question. This isn't a press conference, it's theatrics...a one hour Public Relations infomercial. Just once, I would like to see someone like Pat Forde at one of these things, so some real questions would get asked.

"Journalists" in this sport have to grow some balls and do their jobs. If doing that means getting your credentials revoked then the UFC's press conferences should be empty at all times.

it will never be taken serious until cbs sports cnn and nbc sports type of journalists start covering it.its just a bunch of website coverage and no oneoutside of the hardcore fanbase even knows about it.they all ask easy questions and are afraid to piss off zuffa.

Agree with all of the above. The time is now presser was the best example as of late to show how the "journalists" cover the sport. Sit quiet unless its about a date or time of an event, flatter Conor and Ronda as much as possible.......I'd love it if there was somebody there to toss out tough questions about PEDs and not settle for canned answers.

What really gets me is how little it takes to irk Dana. Any question or remark expressing the slightest doubt regarding a Zuffa/UFC decision or statement instantly makes his blood boil. Just waiting for the day when a journalist gives no fucks and unloads

It may as well be scripted. Why would they even bother having journalists there? Just go up and tell people what you think they want to hear and be done with it. It's just a silly way to try to force feed their agenda down the publics throats.

The UFC don't see the MMA media as journalists they see them as their public relations. In their eyes the 'job' of the mma websites is to promote the UFC and push their agenda out to the public.
