You say gayass like it's a bad thingBecause of gayass EPA regulations and other nonsense .
It is when it comes to EPA regulations keeping Hiluxes out of The U.S.You say gayass like it's a bad thing
I don't think most trucks even have a manual option anymore, I just went to Ford to build a truck and everything was automatic 10 speedAmericans not cool enough for them.
And too stupid for a manual transmission truck
What I came to post. lol
I learned how to drive in an old Isuzu Trooper that had a manual transmission. I was 11 years old. The 4-wheeler I got when I was 8 had a manual transmission.Americans not cool enough for them.

I know the rear tyre painI learned how to drive in an old Isuzu Trooper that had a manual transmission. I was 11 years old. The 4-wheeler I got when I was 8 had a manual transmission.
It pisses me off, to no end, that it's damn near impossible to find a vehicle with a manual transmission, these days, here in the States. At least four of the vehicles I've owned have had them. The last one was a an Infiniti G35 6MT coupe. It was fun to drive, but it was a giant piece of shit. Something was always broken. I also had to put new rear tires on it once a year.
I am fortunate enough to get to drive vehicles with manual transmissions a few times a year. One of them is an old 1952 Dodge truck that my Aunt owns. Her husband bought it for her before he died. My dad an I fix shit on it when it breaks and drive it around when we visit her. That thing is a dream to work on, there's so much space, everywhere. My motorcycle has one, but I haven't ridden it in years.I know the rear tyre pain
I had a 350 then 370. Ironically in automatic. I test drove the g35 with a manual but having grown up on them and learning to drive in one an auto sounded way more fun.
As much as I always take the piss I'd probably have to take an hour or two before I was out driving manual again. It would be a disaster. I'm all about semi auto with paddles. Even then I only used them to fuck around.
Very coolAustralia is full of Hilux's, they've been in the top 5 selling cars for at least the past 10 years. They have a reputation for being unbreakable.
Very cool
They have some in Mexico but not US
Maybe the Mexico ones and Aus ones aren't even the same vehicle? Not sure.
Toyota Tacoma has too much going on and ditched the simple reliable low cost truckThey do have Hiluxes in many South American countries, which is probably how Mexico can get them.
America has had the Toyota Tacoma instead since the late 90s.
